Welcome to ARTIZAX. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the ARTIZAX online store, including purchases of ready-made, made-to-order, personalized and bespoke handcrafted objects.

ARTIZAX is operated by ARTIZAX LLC, a registered U.S. limited liability company. Our craft production is based in Morocco, where our objects are created through ARTIZAX workshops and Moroccan artisans.

By accessing our store, using our services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies applicable to your purchase.

ABOUT ARTIZAX

ARTIZAX develops and offers handcrafted Moroccan objects created across different craft traditions, materials and regions of Morocco.

Our collection may include woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, textiles, rugs, leatherwork and other artisan-made objects, as well as pieces produced according to individual customer requirements.

Our purpose is to connect contemporary international commerce with authentic craft production in Morocco while maintaining clear information about the origin, making and character of our objects.

HANDCRAFTED PRODUCT CHARACTER

ARTIZAX objects are handcrafted, and many are made from natural materials.

Variations in wood grain, color, texture, dimensions, engraving, hammering, weaving, stitching, ceramic glaze, painted details and other characteristics may naturally occur between individual pieces.

These variations are part of the character of handmade production and do not necessarily constitute defects.

No two handcrafted objects should be expected to be perfectly identical unless a specific technical requirement has been expressly agreed.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, production information and other relevant details.

However, colors and appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, screen settings, natural materials and the handmade production process.

Dimensions of handcrafted objects may also be subject to reasonable artisanal tolerances where exact measurements have not been specifically agreed.

If a particular dimension, finish or characteristic is essential to your purchase, we encourage you to contact ARTIZAX before ordering.

PRICES

Product prices are displayed through the ARTIZAX store according to the currency and market available to the customer.

Prices may change from time to time without affecting orders already accepted, except where correction is required for an obvious pricing or technical error and permitted by applicable law.

Shipping costs, taxes, duties or other applicable charges may be displayed or calculated separately depending on the order and destination.

ORDERS & ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that it has been finally accepted for fulfilment.

Orders may be subject to payment authorization, product availability, shipping restrictions, fraud-prevention review and verification of material pricing or product-information errors.

If ARTIZAX cannot fulfil an order that has already been paid, we will take appropriate steps concerning the affected payment in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made using a payment method made available through the ARTIZAX checkout or another payment arrangement expressly agreed for an eligible custom project.

Payment services may be provided by independent payment processors and are also subject to their applicable terms.

ARTIZAX reserves the right to delay production or shipment until any payment required at that stage of the order has been successfully confirmed.

READY-MADE OBJECTS

Ready-made objects are pieces available for purchase without requiring production specifically for the customer.

They are subject to availability and undergo appropriate preparation and inspection before dispatch.

MADE-TO-ORDER OBJECTS

Certain ARTIZAX pieces are produced after an order is placed.

Estimated production times may vary according to the craft, dimensions, materials, finishing requirements, complexity of the object and workshop schedule.

Production estimates are provided in good faith but should be distinguished from carrier delivery times.

CUSTOM & BESPOKE ORDERS

ARTIZAX offers customers the possibility to request modifications to selected objects or commission a new piece.

A custom project may involve agreement on elements such as:

• Dimensions
• Materials
• Colors or finishes
• Decorative details
• Reference images
• Design specifications
• Price
• Estimated production schedule

Where customer approval is required, production will proceed according to the specifications agreed for the project.

Changes requested after production has begun may affect price, feasibility and completion time and may require additional approval.

CUSTOMER-PROVIDED REFERENCES

Customers may provide photographs, drawings, measurements or other references to help explain a custom request.

By submitting such materials, you confirm that you are entitled to provide and use them for the requested purpose.

ARTIZAX may decline a request where producing it would reasonably create legal, technical, safety, intellectual-property or feasibility concerns.

PRODUCTION TIMES

Handcrafted production requires time.

Any production period displayed on a product page or communicated for a custom project is an estimate based on the information available at that time unless ARTIZAX expressly confirms otherwise.

We aim to communicate responsibly if a material production delay occurs.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

ARTIZAX ships handcrafted objects from Morocco to customers internationally.

Shipping times vary according to destination, carrier, shipment dimensions, customs procedures and circumstances outside ARTIZAX's reasonable control.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by authorities or service providers in the destination country.

Where such amounts are not collected by ARTIZAX during checkout, they may be payable by the recipient according to applicable local rules.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information reasonably required for international delivery and customs processing.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Eligibility for returns may depend on the nature of the product and applicable consumer law.

Ready-made products and pieces manufactured specifically according to customer-selected specifications may therefore be subject to different conditions.

Customers should review our Returns & Refunds Policy before purchasing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If an object arrives damaged or an incorrect item is received, customers should contact ARTIZAX as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request the order number, photographs of the object, photographs of the packaging and other reasonable information necessary to review the case.

Customers should retain the item and packaging until appropriate instructions are provided.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation possibilities depend on the type and status of the order.

A ready-made order that has not yet entered fulfilment may be treated differently from a personalized or bespoke object for which materials, design work or production have already been committed.

Any mandatory cancellation rights available under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The ARTIZAX name, trademarks, brand identity, original photography, graphics, written content, website presentation and other protected materials belong to ARTIZAX LLC or their respective rights holders where applicable.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to misrepresent an association with ARTIZAX without appropriate authorization, except where such use is permitted by law.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You may not use the ARTIZAX website or services to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activity.

You may not attempt to interfere with the security, functionality or operation of the store, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorized access to systems or information, or use our services in a manner that infringes the rights of others.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Certain functionality may be provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers and other service providers.

Use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and policies.

ARTIZAX is not responsible for independent third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.

PRIVACY

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the privacy controls and practices applicable to our Shopify-powered store.

Customers are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy to understand how information may be collected, used and shared.

DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY

ARTIZAX aims to provide accurate information, reliable service and appropriately made products.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ARTIZAX will not be responsible for losses resulting from misuse of a product, unauthorized modification, failure to follow reasonable care instructions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our operations, services, technology, policies or legal requirements.

The current version will be made available through the ARTIZAX store, together with an updated revision date where appropriate.

GOVERNING RIGHTS

ARTIZAX LLC is a U.S.-registered company serving customers internationally, with craft production in Morocco.

Because customers may purchase from different jurisdictions, mandatory consumer protections and other applicable legal rights may vary by location.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to override rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted under applicable law.
